Chapter 2 logo

In case anybody's interested (and I know our staff is because they've been asking me for weeks)...this is our newly designed logo for our Chapter 2 campaign coming in October. Ed mentioned this on Sunday. We're heading into a brand new chapter in our church's history. We can no longer only focus on reaching people from our Sharpsburg campus. So in addition to building a new facility here, we're taking CCC into our neighborhoods through multiple campuses. It's going to be a huge challenge but I'm convinced God's big enough for the task and our church has the right people to make it happen. So even though it's early, I just want to remind us all of the 3 things we're asking every CCC attender to do during Chapter 2:

1. Pray and ask God to empower us through His Spirit to reach the 60,000 people we don't know yet AND the 4 that we do. (notice we included them on the logo!) Ask Him what He wants you to do in this next chapter.
2. Get involved. Don't miss a Sunday during the campaign. Join a 4 week Chapter 2 small group. When you're invited to a Chapter 2 event, just go!!
3. Give whatever God tells you to give.

Mark my words. God's going to surprise a lot of us over the next 3 years. And I'm so thankful that I get to be along for the ride.
