Finally back to blogging

Sorry for my long blogging hiatus. I know your life has been greatly affected from not reading my random thoughts. It was the holidays and I went on a little year end vacation. I'll see if I can get back into the swing of this.

• What an awesome start to the Alternate Endings series yesterday! I've said it before but Ed kicks butt when he's explaining the true heart and meaning of scripture. That whole thing about praying past your circumstances and getting down to the true desire behind your fear and worry was priceless.
• "You're not here by accident." We say that every Sunday but it was never more true than yesterday. I can't even count the number of people I heard about or talked to who are right in the middle of an alternate ending in life. And to think, we planned this series last summer. I think God just knows what He's doing. Imagine that.
• Don't forget to go to the CCC website and vote for your favorite ending to the drama series. Then, show up next week to see if your choice wins.
• I haven't had a chance in a while to brag about my beloved Bulldogs. The Sugar Bowl wasn't even a game, people!! The Dawgs should have at least been in Pasadena playing USC. Now, that would have been a game. But I always pull for the SEC in bowl games so tonight I'm a Tigers fan. My brothers-in-law would be happy. But you heard it here first. Don't be shocked to see GA playing in this game in 09.
• Since I wasn't in town to hear Ed do his now famous "wheel message" I downloaded and listened to all 3 podcasts. Very good stuff. I'm thinking we might give that another shot one day in the future. I'm open to ideas so if you have any good "top 10 lists," share them with me.
