- I can't seem to find much time these days to blog.
- I had a great weekend with family. All the guys in my extended family put together a Mother's Day feast of "man food" because that's all we can cook. The girls weren't allowed to do a thing. So it was burgers, dogs, baked beans, etc. The ladies didn't mind. They enjoyed taking pictures of all us fellas cleaning up the kitchen.
- Last night as Abby went to bed, she said a special prayer for her mom. "Dear God, thanks for letting me have the best mom in the whole world." I couldn't agree more.
- Tonight Abby "graduates" from Pre-K. Yes, you read that right. They now put 4 year olds in cap and gown and march them in to Pomp and Circumstance. I have so many opinions about how crazy that is but I'll spare you.
- Had a blast playing "Mother's Day gift upgrade" in the service yesterday. I love the fact that CCC is willing to do such fun, awesome stuff for the sake of those we are trying to reach. I spoke to a guy who just started coming to CCC. It's his first time in church in 15 years because he's had such bad experiences. We're slowly changing his attitude towards God and church. He's really starting to plug in and see how Jesus is making an impact in his life. That's what it's all about.
