- Biggest shocker of the week: How fast kids change. We've never been away from our kids that long and I'd always laughed at people who see them weekly and say they look like they've grown. Now I'm one of them. My one year old started saying so many new words, I still don't think I've heard them all yet.
- I love my wife. I don't know too many husbands who could spend a week alone with their wives and not come home ready to kill each other. But the whole week she just kept reminding me that she truly is my best friend. We had a blast and it was actually hard to leave the house this morning to come into work.
- What a great Father's Day yesterday. Abby made me the most creative card and she could hardly wait to give it to me. All day she just kept hopping up in my lap and giving me hugs and kisses..."Because it's Fodder's Day, Daddy. It's your favorite holiday." she would say. Then, last night my whole extended family celebrated together at one of my favorite restaurants in Newnan. It was probably my best Father's Day yet.
- Abby turns 5 next week so there'll be a "Little Mermaid" party at my house with all girls. Should be an interesting event, but she'll be so happy and that's all I care about. I should have lots of fun breaking in the monster water slide we're renting.
- I'm up to speak for the next 3 weeks. For all of "Ed's fans" that's bad news...both of them.
- The "In The Groove" series has started and I think it's going to be a great one. Hopefully we're going to make spiritual growth a little more understandable and give you some tools to get it done. Don't forget we've got a great class on how to study the Bible starting this Sunday to go along with the series. It'll be 10:30am at the Sharpsburg campus and 12noon at Madras.
- I heard a lot of feedback from folks who loved the "Mandles" video on Sunday. Here's a link to YouTube if you want to see it again.
- I went straight to Cancun and didn't get a chance to say how much I enjoyed doing the "spin the wheel" message last Sunday. I hope you guys got something out of it. But I'm not sure I'll be doing another one anytime soon. That thing was a lot of work. About 4 times as much as a normal message!
- I also didn't get to mention what an awesome time I had at the volunteer appreciation dinner. You guys were much better at 80s trivia than I thought you'd be. Or I need to get some tougher questions. I hope all of you who showed up felt appreciated. I'm sure all of our "videos" didn't help much. But we really do love and appreciate you guys who are the heart and soul of CCC.

Catch Up Blog
From the inactivity of my blog recently, you might think I was dead or something. Not so. My wife and I spent all of last week in Cancun. One of the most relaxing vacations I've ever had. So after 5 days of doing nearly nothing, I'm back and if anybody cares, here are a few of the things floating around my head right now...
