Lottery Church, part 2

After I posted this story about a church that refused a donation by one of its members who won the lottery...now there's one that's exactly the opposite. If you want to read about it, click here. Basically, a church member won $3 million and gave the entire amount to the church anonymously. It'll be coming in to them in yearly installments. My favorite part of the story is how the church plans to give away the entire first year and 20% of each year afterwards.

The biggest question for me after seeing both of these is: Which church made the decision that most represents the heart of Jesus? I'm not saying that I agree or disagree with the concept of the lottery. This is just an opinion. But I would have to say the church that took the money. Somehow, I think that a watching world would see more of Jesus in a church that prayerfully chose to bless their community with lottery money than a church that chose to take a moral stand against the lottery and refuse it. Feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments.
