Weekend Update

  • Let's go ahead and get it out of the way. It was a bad weekend to be a Dawg. But I'm no fairweather fan. I'm still bleeding red and black.
  • Very powerful service Sunday. Great video. Awesome song. Butt kicking message. Lots of folks were buzzing about getting hit between the eyes about their lack of contentment. I'm right there with you!
  • Welcome To The Jungle was the prelude!!! Gotta love that.
  • This Sunday we're dealing with having contentment with yourself. I'm excited about getting to preach this one. Especially the ending God gave me.
  • Invite a friend to come with you this Sunday. Never underestimate the power of an invitation.
  • Ran sound for Hype United Sunday night. Missed all of the pumpkin smashing but from the looks of the yard this morning, it was a blast.
  • Did you guys know we have the most incredible youth band I've ever seen? I'd put them up against anybody.
  • Our kids had a great Halloween. We had some dear friends over for a big ole pot of chili. All our kids hit the neighborhood for trick or treating. Then, we all came back for candy and dessert. I think it's becoming a tradition for us and I love it.
  • Dawn, you can make me that pumpkin pie again any time you like!! Best. Pie. Ever.
  • Falcons looked good yesterday. But then again, they played the Raiders.
  • I'm sick of Christians filled with fear over the election. I thought Jesus said this. And I thought the Bible says this about Jesus. So, ultimately it doesn't matter who wins.
