- Thanks to all the folks who participated in the Q&A here on the blog. Got some great questions and interaction. I like being able to take things further than what we're able to do on Sundays.
- Started the American Idol series. Ed knocked it out of the park. We all got busted for our circumstantial faith. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
- Our faith is not based on an event or a teaching or a philosophy. Our faith is based on a person...Jesus Christ the Lord.
- There's not a cleaning solution strong enough to cleanse my brain of Bill Coffman singing "Single Ladies." I was there when they filmed it and was scarred for life.
- Stay tuned. There are more auditions to come.
- Yeah, I know I made fun of the weatherman during 10:30 service and when they opened the doors it was a white out. Cut me some slack. I got to get humor wherever I can find it.
- Went home and played in the snow with my girls.
- Singing "Solid Rock" to end the service was incredible. I love it, love it, love it when we take an old hymn and update it. The words were so powerful. We'll be singing it again in this series.
- We held our 2nd Starting Point groups yesterday and Madras kicked Sharpsburg's butt in attendance. I love it.
- So proud of the folks who showed up for the noon service in spite of the "blizzard." They may cancel school but we're still having church!
- If you didn't know, we sent another one of our famous controversial postcards last week. We got our typical complaining phone calls but, believe it or not, there were more positive responses to this one than we've ever had. People called and showed up Sunday thanking us for it.
- Spring training's in full swing and so is my Braves optimism. Bought a 6 pack of tickets last week. Can't wait for my first game!
