Jesus begins and ends the chapter with tough statements. He starts by saying some pretty insensitive things about the fate of some victims of a crime. Something unheard of today. The chapter ends with Him calling out Herod which was almost a death wish. It just reminds me of some things about Jesus I tend to forget and apply in my own life. Don't be afraid to speak the truth even though it may seem insensitive or cause some people pain. The truth is worth it. And don't be afraid to speak truth even if it makes enemies or puts you at risk. Even then, the truth is still worth it.
