It's hard to think that Jesus looks at two guys like Judas and Peter, tells them exactly what they're about to do and they go ahead and do it anyway. You would think that experience would give them enough clarity to stop and think about the fact that they're going to betray and deny Jesus. Even that is not enough to keep them from sinning. But I'm the same way. Everybody is. The capacity of the human heart to live in denial is endless.
