Both of these psalms are pretty familiar to most people. Cool to read them both in this translation. I pretty much have the NIV memorized. It brings out some thoughts that you tend to overlook when it's all committed to memory. I love the theme of God's presence that is constantly with us. I've been hearing of some churches recently emphasizing some practices that help people become aware all throughout their day of God's presence. We're talking about doing some of that at CCC in the future. It reminded me of when I first read The Practice of the Presence of God. That book changed my life. I find that the more often I become aware of God, the more I am the person He wants me to be. And the more I am content, joyful, patient, etc.
