Couldn't get my head past the first line. "Lord, I give my life to you." I've probably said that a million times and sung it in a thousand songs. Not sure anybody ever truly gets to that place, though. Giving our lives to God would probably turn them into something we wouldn't even recognize. And probably something we would even fear if we were to see a glimpse of it. But I can imagine it would be the most awesome state to live in. My goal would be to let go of little pieces of my life a little at a time and hope that by the end of it, God has a nice big chunk of it.
