Romans 9

It's tough to read how Paul's heart breaks for his Jewish brothers and sisters who fail to receive Christ. He says he'd even be willing to be cut off from Christ to see them turn and be saved. I'm sure that's an exaggeration but it just goes to show the love and desperation he feels. It reminds me of people I know who have immediate family members unconnected to Christ. I can't imagine the hurt they feel over that.
