Paul uses the first 11 verses to reference lessons learned from Israel's history in the Old Testament. And at the same time, he speaks of Christ being in those stories. Most of us forget that the entire Bible is about Jesus. You can find Him in every single verse. We sometimes think He didn't show up until the New Testament. But it's all about Him. Every word.
