It's amazing to read in the first half of this chapter how hard Paul argues to try and convince his readers to stop trying to earn God's grace. It's like when you try to give someone something for free and they just can't understand it and take it. It feels too good to be true. But the same thing still happens today with us. For some reason, grace still sounds too amazing and we end up trying to work for it instead of living in it.
