Sometimes reading through psalms I think that they're all so repetitious. But I forget that I'm actually reading the lyrics to a song. I bet if we read the lyrics we sing out loud they'd sound the same way. These are mainly about emotion and a feeble attempt to say how we feel about God in a new way. But I don't care how much we repeat ourselves and fall short of truly expressing it, God still loves it. It's the same way with my kids. I never tire of hearing the same words of love from them and I never tire of saying them back.
