Fascinating that in this short letter, John tackles one issue with an interesting command. There are false teachers threatening the message within the church. John's answer: Love one another. And he's right. True love that God reveals to us covers all the issues we face. When love drives relationships, truth, doctrine, community, morality, etc. it all works out the way God intended.
