Psalm 123, 124 & 125
123:2 is a fascinating kind of image for the way we relate to God. It suggests that we constantly keep our gaze on God for the very slightest word or movement He makes, ready to obey and follow His lead at a moment's notice. It involves constant contact and constant listening to the point that we can barely make a movement or say a word apart from His leading. It would be a totally different way to live than most of us usually do, but I suspect it would be unbelievably better.
