- Baptizing Tom Ferguson...the highlight of my weekend. No, make that my year!!! What an awesome story this guy has to tell of his journey towards grace. I know I said I would blog about it this week but we just interviewed Tom and his wife Jackie for an upcoming video during Chapter 2 so I'm going to hold off and not spoil it for everybody. After the service, I joined Tom and his entire family at a celebration at Locos. It was so awesome to sit and have a piece of cake with him just a few feet away from the booth where we first realized he had crossed the line of faith.
- Spent most of the weekend with my entire family in a cabin in Warm Springs celebrating my grandmother's 75th birthday. I know for a lot of people that sounds like suicide but we had a blast. I love my family! What an amazing heritage we have.
- It felt like a long time since I'd preached and it was great to be back. But boy, it was a tough subject. Thanks to everybody who came up afterwards and offered words of encouragement. I really hope it helped get some of us back on track with God's plan for sex and marriage. I know it reminded me of my commitment to my wife. It's a covenant, not a contract. I've got to show her that every single day.
- Our student ministry had a lock-in/battle of the bands last night and they had 120 students there. Kelley and his team are my heroes! What an awesome job of inviting friends and extending grace. Go home and get some sleep, guys. You deserve it!!!
- It's official. The Falcons stink. Keep it up so we can get a good draft pick in a few years and get a quarterback. My choice: Tim Tebow (even though I hate Florida).

Monday Morning Thoughts
Because my mind is usually so full on Monday mornings, I thought I'd start a weekly blog with an update on what went on each weekend and even get you guys to share some of your thoughts on it too. So here's what's on my mind today. Feel free to chime in.
