Weekend Update

• Sitting here on a Sunday night stuffing envelopes with my wife with our family Christmas card. We got an amazing picture this year thanks to this guy. You da man, Andrew.
  
• Incredible music again in today's service. U2 can just flat out write classic songs that stand the test of time. 
• Another baptism at Sharpsburg today. Those never, ever, ever get old.
• Had a wonderful conversation with a woman from our church who is smack dab in the middle of the seeking process. She's on her way toward trusting Jesus and I was so happy to help her take her next steps. That also never gets old.
• Looking forward to next week's service. 
• Looking forward to taking love to town on Christmas Eve.
• Put up Christmas lights at my house for the first time. We're not the Griswolds yet but we could be on our way.
• I got to tell stories of lives that are changing at CCC for our Frontline leadership meeting this weekend. I love that. 
• Thanks for all the great feedback to the questions on the blog. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I feel like it was a good first run. Love to try something like that again.
• Did you hear what our next "you asked for it" message is going to be?......The end times!!! Last Sunday of 08. Be there.
• Someone told me today that I was married to the prettiest teacher at Northgate High School. Yeah. I know. I'm proof that there's hope for ugly guys everywhere.
• The Falcons won with defense today! And we beat the Bucs which is always sweet. In your face, Coffman!!!! The playoffs??? Are you kidding me?? Playoffs???
• It tore me up when I heard that the Braves couldn't sign AJ Burnett. Who's our ace going to be now? Jair Jurrjens??? God help us.
