Are you ready to go "All In"?

Have you noticed all of the poker tournaments on TV lately? Have you noticed the most dramatic moment during the game? It's always the moment when a player pushes every chip into the middle of the table and bets it all on one hand. It's the moment he goes ALL IN. That's the title of our new series beginning this Sunday. But we're not talking about poker. We're talking about our lives. Everybody goes ALL IN for something. It's all about commitment...what you commit your time, your treasure and your energy to. Jesus said to be a true follower of His, there was no partial commitment. Jesus called His followers to go ALL IN. After last week's Vision Day message, it reminded me that the task ahead of us to reach the 60,000 unconnected people in our community is way too big. We can't just give a little...serve a little...pray a little. Jesus demands and deserves more than that. He's only ever gone ALL IN for us. So be here for the next two weeks as God challenges us through His word to make our lives and our legacies count for eternity. It's time to go ALL IN.
