Weekend Update

  • Great service today. I talked to so many people who responded to the message and will be scheduling baptisms soon. Hell will be less crowded because of today. I love it.
  • I really had the sense that God was working in peoples' lives this week preparing them to hear His word today. Heard some stories that blew my mind.
  • 3 baptisms at Sharpsburg today. One was a young person who baptized her mother! That is so cool.
  • Did you see the baptism at the 10:30 service? Our retractable screen that hides the baptistery got possessed by a demon and wouldn't raise up. So our producer and band members stood up on stools and held the screen above their heads so the baptism could still go on. I loved what Jeremy said..."We'll do whatever it takes to baptize folks at CCC!!!"
  • When we read scripture now at Sharpsburg, I hear Bible pages rustling every time. Music to my ears!!
  • Have I told you guys lately how much I love being a part of CCC?
  • I've had lots of people ask me about the last song. It's called "You're Not Guilty Anymore" by Aaron Keyes. Click here.
  • Easter is next Sunday. Invite. Invite. Invite.
  • We'll follow today's service up on Easter and answer the question "Why did Jesus rise from the dead?"
  • Baseball is officially started!!!!
  • Sat on the couch tonight and watched the Braves get 3 homeruns in the first 2 innings. High fives with Abby. Doesn't get much better than that.
  • Can't wait to take her to the ballpark next weekend.
