One day I heard my 3 yr old yell at my 6 yr old, "You're going to time out!!" When I heard it, I laughed. Because it was silly to hear this kid with no authority and no power, scream and yell as if she had all the power in the world to make stuff happen. I love Psalm 2:4 when it says God looks at world leaders and all their power and just laughs. God's gonna do what God's gonna do and there's nothing any of us can do about it. The best we can do is follow and trust. And sometimes that's scary but most of the time it's comforting. I'm glad He's got it under control. I'm glad that in the end, God gets what God wants and Jesus will reign over all and straighten out this mess once and for all. Now if I could just let that happen every day in my own life.
