Seems like every generation thinks they're the ones that will see Jesus' return. I can remember hearing preachers as a kid predicting when Jesus would come back and I also remember being scared out of my mind. But the older I get, the less effect that kind of stuff has on me. Not that I don't care about Jesus' return. I'm just more confident and excited about it. I'm understanding more every day that when He does return just exactly what we gain (and lose). And that pumps me up. I'm ready for Jesus to have His way with this world. I'm ready to see the ones I've lost. And I also think it's hilarious that Jesus Himself said that even He didn't know when it would happen. And almost every preacher on TV thinks he does.
