Acts 8

In the last chapter, things looked so bad and even at the beginning of this chapter it sounds bad. But one of the best things to happen to the church was persecution because it sent the believers into places they might not have otherwise gone to carry the gospel. Without that, the message of Christ might not have gotten to Samaria the way it did. We hear these days that the church is being persecuted in places like China but the church is spreading there like wildfire. While here, the church declines. I wonder sometimes if it was a little harder to be a believer here, would the message spread more? And would we be a little more bold in sharing it?
