(Somehow I got my Psalms readings out of order so I'm having to back up a little)
"For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning." It's all temporary. And that's good news most of the time. Doesn't always feel that way. But in order to get through the hard stuff it's important to have that kind of perspective. When we suffer, we have to live in the moment but keep an eye on the future. Because for the believer, that's where the hope is.
