I hear a lot of Christians talk about politics, the state of the world, disasters and other things like that and they sound like they're so fearful of what might happen. I think they ought to read these two psalms. If God is God, then ultimately He will have His way with this world. It's all still under His thumb. I'm not saying Christians shouldn't take action to right the wrongs or to change things that need changing. But let's not do it with this attitude of fear and desperation. Even if the whole planet falls apart tomorrow, I know one thing that won't fall apart. And that's really the only thing that matters.
