So many people I encounter who decide to accept Jesus never quite understand this part of salvation. We like the believe part and the grace part and the eternal life part. But the "no more sin" part...not so much. We have forgotten the true meaning of repentance. Paul says when we come to Christ, we die to sin. How can we live in it any longer? It doesn't mean we never sin again. But we do turn from it and are no longer slave to it. Way too many "Christians" are still slaves to sin. (emphasis on the quotation marks)
