Let me introduce you to a special young lady. This is my daughter Abby. She's 4. Tonight Abby taught her pastor daddy a valuable lesson from the Bible. We decided to read from her Bible stories book before bedtime. Abby wanted to read so I let her choose a story. I'm starting to believe that God's word never sounds better than when it's being heard through the voice of a child. Imagine the voice of a 4 year old little girl reading these words to me from her story book:
"Jesus told Nicodemus that God loved everyone so much that he even sent his Son to die for us. Now everyone who believes in Jesus, God's Son, can go to heaven someday."Then Abby looked up at me and said, "We can't see Him now Daddy but one day we will!!!" No wonder Jesus said that the key to following Him was to become like a little child...like Abby. Thanks for the reminder, baby girl. That's just what Daddy needed to hear.

Such a beautiful story...We are now raising our granddaughter and have experienced some very special moments with her. We had stopped attending church for years. When she was 4, she started asking the questions that we realized we could not really answer her to where she would understand. One question that kept being asked was "Who is God? Why is Jesus on the cross? I turned to great grandparents, who are dedicated church and bible readers, on both sides for help. Yet she still didn't understand completely. About 2 years ago we decided that we need to help her with her questions and found Community Christian Church and am very happy for the children's ministry. She's found peace in getting some answers and learning more. There are times when we can't attend Sunday services and it really upsets her.
Thank you Community Christian for the teachings and help in rebuilding our Faith.
That is awesome man, now i want a kid. lol just kidding. Your daughter is wise, and i think she gets it from her dad.
Oh my goodness Jason! I am sitting at work so of course there is nothing better to do than read your blog! That made me cry! Abby is so wonderful and smart!
