Weekend Update

• Had a great week of vacation with my family and the Coffmans. Vacations with little kids can be very tiring but there's no better way to connect with them and make some cool memories. I think we did that.
• I got to attend the Madras campus yesterday. It was my first time being in one of their services since launch day. Can't say enough about how awesome it was. I met several new CCCers who have become a vital part of what God's doing through this church. Looks like they'll be having their first baptism this Sunday. I wish I could be there!
• I'm getting really pumped up about our first series in the fall. The messages are all ready and we're starting production for the small group lessons to go with them. You'll be seeing a promo video for the series this Sunday. Summer's almost over so it's time to get back into invitation mode!!!
• Wow. After I typed "summer's almost over" it reminded me that Abby will be in kindergarten in 3 weeks. Scary little dad moment there.
• Speaking of small groups...it's time to get into one. You've got a couple more Sundays. Sign up on the card in your bulletin.
• Looking forward to watching the All Star Game on Tuesday. Should be really cool being the last one at Yankee Stadium.
• Got to get back to work. You know how it is after you come home from vacation!
