Weekend Update

• I can't believe how many conversations I've had about me getting creamed in the video! To answer all the questions: Yes - what you saw was in real time. Yes - it hurt...a lot. Yes - I only did one take. And yes - it was the most watched clip in the office for about 2 weeks during production.
• Loved Ed's explanation of how God views our money. All day long, I kept thinking about my stuff and wondering how He could use it as a tool for the kingdom.
• What I loved even more was having that same conversation with my 5 year old daughter. I say this all the time but the way we link our adult and children's ministry rocks!
• I got to hang out with our student ministry at HYPE United last night. A ton of students showed up. The band killed! (Nathan, I don't care what anybody thought. The Audioslave song was unreal.)
• Don't forget Vision Day is Feb. 1. If you consider CCC your church, you can't miss it. God's really been shaking things up in regards to our Chapter 2 strategy to reach the 60,000 unconnected people in our county. The best is yet to come!
• I've just finished a 2 part series for Feb. that just might be the most challenging messages I've ever done. It's called "All In" and you'll be hearing more in the coming weeks.
• We've also planned our next "You Asked For It" message for Feb. 22. The question: Is Jesus the only way?
