"Anyone who doesn't receive the kingdom of God like a child will never enter it." That statement took on new meaning for me last week. My little girl expressed her faith in Christ to me and her mom and is preparing for her baptism next month. I was so proud and shocked that she understood so much about what grace means at only 6 years old. When we asked her if she knew what being baptized meant, without hesitation, she said: "It means I want to be with God forever and He's going to wash my sins away and I'm going to follow Him for the rest of my life." So simple but at the same time it's the most profound truth in the world. But she received God's grace as only a little child could. If only the rest of us could keep from making it all so complicated.
