Proverbs is packed with good stuff. But I think verses 5-6 are probably quoted more than any in the entire book. Not sure why. Probably because it's just so stinking hard to do. Most of us think we trust God with all our heart. But most of the time I'm still trusting my own understanding, my own logic, my own reasoning and my own way of getting stuff done. The reason is because we like to be in control of the outcomes. The stupid part of that is God promises to take responsibility for the outcome if we trust Him and do things His way. Half the time, my outcomes suck. His don't. Simple, right? I wish it were.
