Psalm 8 just puts it all into perspective. I'm tending to look up into the night sky a little more than I used to these days. Mainly because of my girls. They seem to notice every star, every phase of the moon, and every little blinking light whenever we're outside. And just like the writer of chapter 8, whenever I stop and look up at it I get perspective too. We really do live in an enormous universe. So big that we can't even see it all to appreciate it. Yet, God still made it and us for His pleasure. He still treasures us and entrusts us and speaks to us specifically out of all the other wonderful things He made. It's humbling and it makes you proud all at the same time.
