Mark 2

No question what phrase jumped off the page today. Jesus has dinner with tax collectors and disreputable sinners, then Mark just throws in the coolest phrase in the chapter. "There were many people of this kind among Jesus' followers." So that makes me wonder. If I look around at the people who I'm following Jesus with and I see nobody like that, am I missing something? If the original twelve could say that disreputable sinners were among their group, am I doing better or worse if there are none among my group of Christ followers? I think that if I ever get to the place where I can't say that, then maybe I should check to see who I'm following. It's probably not Jesus.
